Rabbi Angela Buchdahl

From her pulpit as the Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue, Rabbi Angela Warnick Buchdahl speaks out on issues of injustice and modern-day enslavement of body and soul. She works to build a world in which every person is given equal opportunities to realize their God-given potential, and has joined Auburn Seminary’s campaign to fight child sex trafficking in New York State. In 2011, Rabbi Buchdahl was named by Newsweek and The Daily Beast as one of America’s “Most Influential Rabbis,” and in 2012 by The Daily Beast as one of America’s “Top 50 Rabbis.” Buchdahl was recognized as one of the top five in The Forward’s 2014 “Forward Fifty,” a list of American Jews who had the most impact on the national scene the previous year.
