Debra Martin Chase
Television, Movie, and Theater Producer
A graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Harvard Law School, Debra Chase is an Emmy Award-nominated and Peabody Award-winning television and movie producer, and Tony Award-winning theater producer. She was the first Black female producer to have a deal at any major studio, and is one of the first Black filmmakers to produce a film that grossed over $100 million. To date, her films have grossed over a half billion dollars at the box office.
