Reverend Brett Figlewski is Priest-in-Charge/Rector of St. Paul’s Church with Christ Church Chapel in Connecticut, and the former Legal Director of the LGBT Bar Association of New York.  He joined LeGaL as its first Legal Director in February 2015 after a decade spent as a family litigator with Sanctuary for Families. Rev. Figlewski co-authored work on trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of young men and boys for the Lawyer’s Manual on Human Trafficking and created a legal clinic for at-risk LGBTQ youth.  He also oversaw LeGaL’s helpline, clinics, attorney referral, pro bono placement, education, and outreach before being ordained an Episcopal priest in 2018.
