Thinking his young son was too ‘effeminate,’ Giselle’s father put her up for adoption at the age of three. Thereafter she was sexually abused, beaten, and prostituted by her adopted father, from the age of four to almost thirteen, when she ran away. When she was twelve years old, a doctor started giving her injections that she now believes was testosterone, because she immediately went into puberty. Giselle eventually escaped and moved to a city where she felt free to dress like a woman and begin her transition.
“Buyers of transgender women are usually married and seek sexual services that are uncommon. They want to be penetrated by a female who has breasts and long hair. These men have to understand they are part of a huge diversity of sexual beings and are not being honest about who they are. When they accept their sexuality, there will be healthier relationships between transgender women and these men and less prostitution because they will be living a life that is authentic.”
