First Lieutenant in New Jersey’s National Guard and Personal Trainer; Former Linebacker for the New York Giants of the National Football League

Danielle and Mark Herzlich

Commissioned as an Adjutant General Corp Officer in the United States Army in 2011, Danielle Herzlich is an Army veteran and former New Jersey National Guard Sexual Assault Victim Advocate, a certified personal trainer, and Director of Initiatives at Pro Athletes Outreach.  Mark Herzlich is a former New York Giants linebacker, Super Bowl XLVI champion, ESPN/ACC Network college football analyst, and Director of Team Freedom, Professional Athlete and Influencer Partners at International Justice Mission.  In 2009, Mr. Herzlich overcame Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and life-threatening bone cancer, and later published a memoir entitled What It Takes: Fighting for My Life and the Love of the Game. The Herzlichs serve on A Call to Men’s board and previously served as board directors of the Joyful Heart Foundation, whose mission is to end domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault.
