Yolanda Jimenez

Yolanda Jimenez is a member of the Board of Directors of HELP USA and Former Executive Director of the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, where she oversaw overall operations, including a school-based intervention program helping youth exposed to violence in their homes and communities, and expanded program sites nationally through sustainability strategies.  Prior to this role, Ms. Jimenez served more than 30 years in New York City public service.  She was appointed the first Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence (now the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence), where she established Family Justice Centers in all five boroughs to provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, and sex trafficking.  Ms. Jimenez also served as Deputy Police Commissioner of Community Affairs at the New York City Police Department.
