The Honorable Loretta Lynch was sworn in as the 83rd Attorney General of the United States by Vice President Joe Biden on April 27, 2015. She has dedicated her career to justice in public service, including performing pro bono work for the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, which was established to prosecute those responsible for human rights violations in the 1994 genocide in that country. The Honorable Lynch is now a partner in the Paul, Weiss Litigation Department, where she advises on complex government and internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, reputational matters, and high-stakes litigation. She also chairs the Council on Criminal Justice’s Women’s Justice Commission.
