Emmy Award-winning, Grammy-nominated Violinist; Educator; Founder, The Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer College and the Rome Chamber Music Festival
Emmy Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated violinist Robert McDuffie is a soloist who has also shared the stage with artists including Mike Mills, Chuck Leavell, Gregg Allman, Anna Deavere Smith, and Lil Buck. Philip Glass dedicated his second violin concerto, The American Four Seasons, to Mr. McDuffie. Mike Mills composed Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and Orchestra for him, and Mr. McDuffie received a 2023 Emmy Award for A Night of Georgia Music. Mr. McDuffie is also the founder of the Rome Chamber Music Festival and the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
