Lydia Dean Pilcher is a two-time Emmy-winning, Academy Award-nominated producer of over 40 feature films and series, as well as a director, writer, visual artist, cultural strategist, educator, and sustainability advocate.  Her independent production company, Cine Mosaic, focuses on international narrative and documentary stories that promote imagination and diversity.  Ms. Picher co-authored The Ms. Factor:  The Power of Female Driven Content, an economic case demonstrating the commercial viability of investing in female producers, directors, writers, and protagonists. She also co-founded the Producers Guild of America Sustainability Task Force and PGA Women’s Impact Network, co-leads the WGA/PGA Inter-guild Climate Storytelling Working Group, co-chairs the Directors Guild of America Sustainable Future Committee, and received the 2026 Vance Van Petten Entrepreneurial Spirit Producing Award.
