Dr. Chitra Raghavan
Professor of Psychology, John Jay College
Dr. Chitra Raghavan believes strongly in the John Jay mission of “Educating for Justice.” A Professor of Psychology, Director of the Forensic Mental Health Counseling Program, and Coordinator of Victimology Studies in Forensic Psychology, Dr. Raghavan seeks to redress injustice done to survivors of partner violence, sexual assault, and trafficking by correcting misconceptions and promoting awareness through research and teaching, while also serving as a therapist in these communities, and providing forensic evaluations and expert witness testimony in court.
