Norma Ramos
Norma Ramos is a longstanding social justice attorney and eco-feminist who links the global inequality of women to the destruction of the environment. She writes and speaks extensively about the commercial sexual exploitation of women and girls as a core global injustice. Currently, Ms. Ramos serves as Special Advisor on Human Trafficking at the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, after having served as New York State Deputy Secretary for Civil Rights and previously leading the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women. Ms. Ramos also serves on the boards of several anti-trafficking organizations, including Prostitution Research and Education and the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives.
