Shea Rhodes

Shea Rhodes has dedicated her career to combating violence against women and protecting the rights of those who are exploited.  Currently, she is Co-Founder and Director of the Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she works with and on behalf of survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking, promoting survivor-oriented and trauma-informed legal responses to those issues.  Ms. Rhodes teaches Human Trafficking at Villanova Law and is a national expert on laws related to sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, and prostitution policy.  Prior to forming the CSE Institute in 2014, Ms. Rhodes served as a Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney for almost a decade.
