Lynn Savarese
Attorney; Photographer; Co-Founder, The New Abolitionists Campaign
After careers in corporate law and investment banking and a lengthy sabbatical to raise her children and pursue volunteer work for various human rights organizations, Lynn Savarese finally turned to her passion—photography—a dozen years ago. In addition to fine arts pursuits, she works closely with not-for-profit organizations to help further their missions through strategic photography projects. As the photographer commissioned for the New Abolitionists project, Ms. Savarese has had the great honor and privilege of meeting and photographing over 300 amazing New Abolitionists, including over 100 survivors of sex trafficking, and organizing numerous exhibitions to feature them over the years.
“Empathy is the most radical of human emotions.”
