Michelle Soncrant

Survivor of Sex Trafficking

Sexually abused as a child by family members and while in foster care, Michelle Soncrant was again sexually assaulted by a drill sergeant after her enlistment in the military.  Made vulnerable by trauma, Ms. Soncrant fell prey to a trafficking syndicate as a nineteen year old, and remained ensnared in “the life” for over a decade.  Forced into slavery by multiple sex trafficking syndicates, Ms. Soncrant’s buyers included mayors, judges, senators, and CEOs.  Finding a path to recovery in 2010 which she credits to her faith in Christ, Ms. Soncrant went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Substance Abuse Counseling.
