Marin Stewart
Survivor of Commercial Sexual Exploitation; Life Training Academy/Chaplaincy Certification Academy Instructor; Advocate, Organization for Prostitution Survivors
Marin Stewart entered the sex trade at age 18 after childhood sexual abuse and high-risk behavior. In “the life” for 22 years across the USA and overseas while also working as an exotic dancer and high-paid escort, Ms. Stewart’s double life made her feel dissociated and debilitated by shame. A radical spiritual transformation finally helped her transition from overcoming international sex trafficking and more than two decades in the sex industry to a life of service and spiritual guidance. Today, Ms. Stewart is an Inner Healing and Deliverance Minister, serving as an advocate and case manager for commercially sexually exploited children and adults and applying her insights and compassion to aid in their recovery and empowerment. Ms. Stewart has actively raised awareness about commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking through various platforms, including podcasts, radio shows, television appearances, and speaking engagements at universities, churches, and significant forums like the Helsinki Commission in Washington, DC.
“Every human being is created in the image of God. Since the beginning of time, the enemy has been exploiting this image. It’s not just the victim being exploited, but the victimizer as well. We live in a broken world with wounds and trauma running deep in both women and men. Commercial sexual exploitation is evidence of this.
