Dedicated to ending discrimination against women and girls around the world, Agnete Strøm is a founding member of Kvinnefronten, the Women’s Front of Norway, and has served as a longtime international leader for this organization.  Over a decade ago, through meetings with parliamentarians and trade unionists in Norway to advocate for sanctions against sex buying and for social services and job training for survivors of prostitution and trafficking, Ms. Strøm and the Women’s Front played a critical role in the passage of the ground-breaking Nordic Model for addressing prostitution and sex trafficking.  Ms. Strøm speaks throughout the world about the Nordic Model and its focus on demand, and serves on the board of SPACE International.
