A legendary professional baseball player, coach, and television commentator, Joe Torre’s greatest success came as manager of the Yankees, winning four World Series titles, six American League (AL) pennants, and ten AL East Division pennants. In 1996 and 1998, Mr. Torre was the AL Manager of the Year and, in 2014, he was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, where he served as Vice Chairman in 2024. Mr. Torre is Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Major League Baseball. In 2002, he and his wife, Alice W. Torre, founded the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation to end the cycle of domestic violence and abuse through education, and serve as Co-Chairs there, with Ms. Torre also serving as President.
