Crystal Lee Touchstone

Survivor of Sex Trafficking; Survivor Mentor

In the aftermath of a destructive liaison, Crystal Lee Touchstone believed she’d found a more promising relationship with an ER doctor who courted her and her infant son when she was 21 years old.  He too proved toxic however, and for the next six years, Ms. Touchstone was forced into sex trafficking by him and others, through an ‘escort’ service he operated on the side.  His threats to harm her son, or have him removed by Social Services, as well as her own alcohol addiction, hindered Ms. Touchstone’s attempts to flee.  But escape she did, from the west coast to the east, and stayed in hiding for a decade.  Ms. Touchstone — a proud mother of two — has worked as a survivor mentor, helping other survivors of sex trafficking in southwest Florida.

“There was no control once the door was closed.  Whatever the johns demanded, they got.”
